Of course I was hard at work slaving also
Me and my twin cousin
Finally we were set. Bikes were packed, and we headed up for the border.
Before we could cross into Canada, we were told owe must stop by the US side and register the shotgun. After a short paperwork shuffle we were ready to talk to the Canadians.
The crossing took about 30 minutes and was pretty painless. Now we really have to make tracks and make up fair lost time.
We decided to just start riding up for a couple hours and see where we were by dark. We both have Sena SMH10 Bluetooth intercoms which worked perfectly. We are able to talk together for distances of up to a mile. It makes the trip a lot nicer being able communicate freely.
We had a small amount of rain, but nothing that drenched us. Just scattered showers which we mostly missed.
We stopped at a duty free shop to exchange some money and get a detailed map of the area,
We continued riding until 8:45 when we saw a nice campground. The sun was just setting as we finished pitching the tents. We unpacked and started supper.
The sun wend down and we sipped hot chocolate and talked. Tomorrow we will have a beautiful time riding through Banff BC.

I'm enjoying the blog. By the way, if you spot any good places to drill for oil let me know. Speaking of spots, spotted owls taste like chicken...just thought you wilderness survivors should know. Travel safe and keep posting pictures. We love it.
